Dit gebeurt onder steriele omstandigheden. Vooraf krijgt upijnstilling door middel van een injectie. Na desinfectie van de huid,verdooft de radioloog de huid en de diepere lagen. U ligt op uw buik,eventueel ondersteund met een kussen.<\/p>\n<p>Vervolgens brengt de radioloogde nier in beeld met een echo en prikt deze aan met een dunne naald. Ditkan vervelend, pijnlijk aanvoelen. Na het aanprikken wordt de naaldvervangen door een drain, een dun slangetje van buigzaam materiaal.Door middel van een krul aan het uiteinde van de drain blijft de draingoed in de nier liggen.<\/p>\n<p>Met behulp van een speciale pleister wordt dedrain gefixeerd op de huid.
